Questions families ask

GAPP care questions

Who may qualify for GAPP services?

GAPP serves eligible Medicaid members under age 21 who meet program requirements. Eligibility, services, and hours are determined through the authorization process—not by the home care agency.

Can I contact Divine Harvest if my child is already approved?

Yes. Share the authorization details you have, and we can discuss your child’s care needs, service area, and staffing availability.

Can families change home care agencies?

Families may ask about transferring care. The process depends on current authorization, required records, coordination among parties, and the requested agency’s ability to accept the case.

How quickly can services begin?

Start dates vary. They depend on complete records, authorization, the plan of care, clinical review, and appropriate staffing for your child’s schedule and needs.

Will we meet the caregiver or nurse?

We coordinate carefully around the child’s authorized needs and available qualified staff. We will explain the matching and onboarding process during consultation.
